Counting 1-100

Grades: Grade-1 Type: Interactive Levels: 4

Master counting all the way to 100! This interactive activity helps first graders build confidence with larger number sequences, recognize patterns in counting by 10s and 5s, and understand how numbers are organized. Perfect for developing strong number sense and preparing for Grade 2 math.

Practice these skills:

  • Count forward in sequence from 1 to 100
  • Count by 10s (10, 20, 30… 100) and by 5s (5, 10, 15…)
  • Fill in missing numbers in counting sequences
  • Count forward starting from any number (not just 1)
  • Recognize patterns in the hundreds chart

How it works: Look at the number sequence, find the missing numbers, and drag them into the correct spots. You’ll get instant feedback on every answer!

Tips for success: Notice the patterns! When counting by 10s, only the first digit changes (10, 20, 30…). When counting by 5s, the last digit is always 0 or 5.

Aligned with U.S. Grade 1 Math Standards (1.NBT.A.1).
