Ordering Numbers 0-100

Practice putting numbers in order! In this activity, you’ll arrange two-digit numbers from smallest to largest (ascending order) or from largest to smallest (descending order).

Tips:

• Ascending order means from smallest to biggest (like climbing up stairs).
• Descending order means from biggest to smallest (like going down stairs).
• Count in your head to help you remember the order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5…
• Look at the tens place first when comparing two-digit numbers!
• If the tens are the same, then look at the ones place.
